Creativity is really at the heart of our culture and a hugely important part of the Marchday experience. It’s a state of mind that finds us looking for new ways to do things better than we’ve done them before, whether that’s the way we structure deals, leases and partnerships, the way we collaborate with partners or the way we design our schemes and projects.
The words ‘creativity’ and ‘developer’ have not alway gone hand in glove. We’ve taken the time to bring together brilliant creative teams of architects, designers, artists and craftspeople to work with us on our projects.
We’ve got a genuine passion for creative thought and are fully signed up to the commercial value of art and beauty in the workplace. We believe that good design enriches the experience of our customers in their daily lives.
In line with people’s growing interest in the origins of their food we’ve started growing organic vegetables at our business parks and have installed beehives to provide honey for our on site cafes and nursery. We see all this as weird stuff but as the logical direction for a progressive property company like Marchday.
The outcome of this creative approach is customers who love the product and want more of it. We’re very happy in the knowledge that the many artists, designers and makers that we’ve commissioned on each of our schemes have added something vital, playful and seductive to the character of those developments.
